Make you next meeting memorable, at Historic Spanish Point.

 

The meeting and lecture facilities are suitable for clubs, community organizations and businesses. Two meeting rooms are located in the Visitors Center, which is housed in the restored 1927 Osprey School.  White Cottage, located on site, offers a  screen porch or the upstairs sunroom in a place that was once the first tourist resort in Sarasota County.

The Historic Spanish Point Visitors Center offers two meeting room facilities. 

Rooms are available Monday thru Saturday only.

Classroom B:
Will accommodate 25-30 people and is available for daytime or evening meetings. (9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.)

Community Meeting Room: (Classrooms A and B combined)
Will accommodate 50-70 people in lecture format and is generally available only during evening hours

(4:00p.m. - 9:00 p.m.) Monday thru Friday.

A $25 security deposit is required for ALL rentals before the date may be confirmed. 

[If food will be served the security deposit is $50.]

 

RENTAL FEES     7% Sales Tax is Charged on All Rentals

Events AT ANY LOCATION serving food will be charged an additional $10.00 per hour.

HISTORIC SPANISH POINT ON-SITE MEETING SPACES

Historic Spanish Point offers three facilities for rent on the thirty-acre site. 

These are available from 9:30am to 4pm Monday thru Friday only. Also subject to previously planned Historic Spanish Point programs or events.

The L-shaped porch at the White Cottage will accommodate 12-18 people.

The picnic area at the crossroads can accommodate up to 50 people. 

The conference room on the second floor of the White Cottage will accommodate up to 15 people. 

 

A $25 security deposit is required for ALL rentals before the date may be confirmed. 

[If food will be served the security deposit is $50.]

If participants also plan to tour Historic Spanish Point, the regular admission fee ($10 Adults, $9 Seniors and Sarasota County Res., $5 children)

applies in addition to the rental fee.
